Shipping Rates
Live coral orders ship via overnight service to ensure safe arrival.
- $39.99 Overnight Shipping for live coral orders under $250
- FREE Overnight Shipping for live coral orders $250+
Dry goods ship separately and follow the General Store Shipping Policy.
Shipping Days
We ship live coral Monday through Wednesday to avoid weekend delays and ensure the fastest possible delivery window.
Orders placed after Wednesday may ship the following Monday.
Packaging
All live coral shipments include:
- Insulated packaging
- Seasonal heat or cold packs
- Coral cups or bags
- Frag plug protection
- Moisture-resistant liners
- Secure boxing to prevent movement during transit
Our packaging is designed to maintain stable temperatures and protect each coral throughout its journey.
Weather Holds
To protect your livestock, we may delay shipping during periods of extreme heat or cold. If a weather hold is required, we will notify you and ship as soon as conditions are safe.
Carrier Delays
Once shipped, your order is in the care of the carrier. Salty Reefs LLC is not responsible for DOA (Dead on Arrival) caused by:
- Carrier delays
- Missed deliveries
- Incorrect addresses
- Packages left exposed to weather after delivery
Please ensure someone is available to receive the package on the first delivery attempt.
